The hotel i'm staying in has a big established colony of an unknown species on the grounds. I have been observing them since I arrived. I just fed them a big chunk of meat that fell off of my pizza, I placed it close to an entrance. I also placed some corn close by. After a while there were tons of ant going for a bite. They loved the meat. One or 2 went to the corn. I have photos of this(lots). Over the next 2 weeks i shall be keeping a small journal and taking more photos.
Drew.

If they are in the hotel itself, they might be those Egyptian ant thingys that are pests in hotels and things.

The Pharoh ant looks awfully similiar to the smaller workers, but they are also ants that are a lot bigger than the workers, maybe from a different colony or species. All over the resort the 2 different sized ants seem to be in the same place and i have a feeling they maybe majors. There is the possibility it is a mixed species, who knows? O.o
