Stumbled upon some old cad work files at work today and found a job we had done years ago for Butterfly world in St Albans. They have a leaf cutter ant colony so I assume the ant is a leaf cutter my old man forgot to mention to me that he had made this!!! I'm so mad at him haha oh well imageshack.us/a/img202/5537/12510y.jpgimageshack.us/a/img339/5809/20121210140501.jpgThe colours are just the different segments, we had to machine it in parts. Wish I had a photo of the finished job. Max Baker

Strange. Reminds me of a town in northern Australia that my parents traveled to a couple of weeks ago. They called me up to tell me they were in a town that calls itself the "Home of the Meat Ants", and they have a "Giant Meat Ant" in the city. (In Australia, it has become a 'thing' where a town takes up the position of having a "giant" model of their mascot. There are Big Bananas, Giant Guitars, Giant Horses, Big Prawns, you NAME IT! Country Aus towns have it!) Here are some pics, and a news article: www.abc.net.au/news/2011-03-30/giant-ant-to-put-outback-qld-on-the-map/2637070Their local football team call themselves the Meat Ants and at the start of every game recite a team song called the "Meat Ant Chant"!
