Note ive redone this post with a smaller pic size, as you could only see pixels, lol Attachments:

I have a feeling she may be a Crematogaster queen. I don't know her species I'm sorry. BatSpiderFish is very good at his identification of ants so hopefully he may see this and help you out.

It could be, ive been looking at the Crematogaster ants and they are like some of the ants i seen near my home climing on the big Cork Oak tree, the have read heads and a little bodys with that pointy backside, where i been finding these queens is not too far from this tree too, make sence that they fligh out of the tree and land in the drive way.

I think it's possible to keep these ants.

Species from Crematogaster are fully-claustral. I've seen a few captive colonies of this genus, and I got close to raising one of my own. They are relatively easy to keep, but good escape artists.

i would imagine so if they nest in trees, they would eat straight through my set up, lol. I got the queen in a test tube with the cotton wool and water that I've seen so much of, had her there since yesterday but no eggs so far? is that because i keep opening up the box to have a look?
