Hey everyone. I went to my local pet shop to see if they sold formicaria, the owner suggested he could probably have one made. After looking online at designs and requirements we settled on a design that essentially is a foraging tank with a partition on one end. The partition creates a thin area a couple of centimetres wide which is where my ants are sitting at the moment. He charged me £13 for it.
Does anyone have any input about this? I was really happy about how cheap it was (30 quid is a lot for me to spend on anything right now) and it seemed more elegant to me than having two separate enclosures. If it sounds like i've done something obviously wrong, though, now would be a good time for me to rectify it...?

Wow, that's a steal! I was just thinking myself that I might do something similar, with a visible nest and foraging area in one (I don't have a lot of space in my room to house big setups). But £13? Bargain, I'm assuming this wasn't your average Pets at Home store what are the dimensions/materials?
