How can you fix a minor flood in a test tube when you have lots of eggs and larvae plus an easily agitated queens??

You can attach another dry test tube together with some tape. Place one end in the light and the other in the dark. They should move.

Yes, connect another as said so she has the choice to move over. Maybe at a very slight angle so the water doesn't run in.

Also try to keep the tubes away from areas with large temperature fluctuations. This helps reduce the chance of flooding.
