Okay, well a couple of months back i caught a queen which is believed to be Lasius Brunneus! (Identified by Batspiderfish). Just to let you guys know, she is doing great! With 5 workers (2 hatched today) and a small amount of brood! I will make a journal at some point...

We won't know it's Lasius brunneus without a close examination of the antennae.

I've found my share of queens who were out at totally incorrect times. While there is plenty of implication that your queen is Lasius cf. brunneus, as scientists we must never be sure until we are sure.
