Should the sands, etc that come from antstore still be baked?
If so, what in? How long? How hot?

Remember that ants are natural born survivers and can thrive in the harshest of conditions - Having said that, make sure that you still do you best to provide favorable conditions... just don't go over board ;D

They do fine in soil in my garden. You don't need to worry because they live in this everywhere and do just fine.
