Myrm, do you think I should test out my designs on fire ants as they are everywhere after nuptial flights?

I always design stuff. ;D That is good! ;D Myrm, do you think I should test out my designs on fire ants as they are everywhere after nuptial flights? You could do, yes, just be careful as they have an unpleasant sting.

A fire ant queen will have workers long before her reservoir runs out in a conventional test tube, but this sort of design is great for difficult subterranean species like Ponera or Amblyopone.

It is simply made out of a ball valve and clear piping and cotton. Very cheap. ;D

I've had ants in the same test tube for months and months. what little mold does appear is harmless.
