here is my design for L.flavus nest which includes underground foraging area. its not fully finished yet as it needs touching up with paint etc. the nest its self was made with plaster of Paris, then i carved out the chambers myself with a small chisel. the trapdoor is made from a plastic base covered in 'putty filler', flattened out and painted. also not shown in the picture is a tube I've now attached in case of extension required. also its quite small (3" square approx.) so it may not be used for real ants but as a prototype. let me know what you guys think and any improvements you think of. Cheers everyone. P.S how do you add more pictures? :S Attachments:

It looks very good! To add lots of pictures it is easy to join "Photobucket" and upload images to and from there.
