Awsome! Down my mum's alotment plot, i found a colony of these. i gave some of their pupae and cocoons to my lasius niger queens These look really cool, wish I'd find something other than lasius niger every summer

If you gave Myrmica pupae to your Lasius Queen she won't accept them, they will take them but when they hatch they will abandon them. Also They don't have cocoons

I don't think it's likely that they will eclose. If they don't eat them, they'll just neglect them.

Well I gave my Rubra's some fusca cocoons and alate cocoons which they took since they have no scent but once they hatched they left them.
