Today in science we were given a topic to do a paper/booklet or video on , giving information on our topic. I was given ants as my topic , no one in class except the teacher know I like ants, so I tried to hide my smile when my friends got spiders (yuck!)and birds XD for there topics. Im only going to write about Lasius Flavus, Lasius Niger and Myrmica rubra as Thesse are very common. I will make a few references to Phioldole Palidula for there caste's and Messor Barburus for there seed gathering and storing. I'm going to do it in a booklet or a short movie type thing. I just felt like sharing

They could easily be Lasius umbratus, but we'd need more detailed images (the petiole node should be rather tall.) That there was a L. niger worker in the mix would imply that it is not Lasius flavus.
