Hey guys, just read up Rubra's strive well in Moist conditions, well mine are in a quite dry setup, does this need to change??

Hey guys, just read up Rubra's strive well in Moist conditions, well mine are in a quite dry setup, does this need to change?? If your rubras are doing well in their current set up, then why change? Alternatively you could make one section of the nesting box a bit damper and leave the other dry, and see what they prefer. That's what I'm currently doing since the past six months with my Lu.

I'll certainly spray mist my Nesting area, see how they react .

I am with Myrm, keeping half of it a bit more humid and the other half the same as before would make the transition easier for the ants. If you notice them favoring one side then I would suggest keeping the nest at the conditions of that side.
Do you use a heater?

No but they are about 1and1/2 feet away from a radiator...
It get's nicely warm.

Yes I will, They always have lived the furthest away from the radiator, probably due to heat.
Yet I know It isn't TOO hot, they've done splendid there for 2 years, Can't really get worse now!

Remember that with moisture comes mould. So be careful how much extra moisture you give your ants.
