Hi everyone. ;D I would really like your imput here... In the summer I am going to try and put together a food set of different foods for ants and sell a few. I really like buisness and so I'm going to find the experience fun If you were to buy this food collection what foods would you like in there? (Please vote in the poll) The options I have listed are those that I have acsess to at a low cost and so have a chance of making a profit from (excluding "Meh!" ) but if you have other suggestions, then please let me know! Thanks guys, -fraggs-

Seeds you can make a MASSIVE profit on if you just get a bag from a pet store. (Well I think a profit would be made). But I wouldn't by any as we keep birds so have a ready supply if mealies, and other insects are easy to find.

Ok, seed's not easy to obtain or sell.
Ant jelly, good but There's better
Cricket's are good but very tricky to breed
MEALWORMS EASY TO RAISE EASY TO BREED AND EASY TO SELL AND GOOD TO FEED (to ants, but also taste nice when fried ;D!)!
Brine shrimp I have no idea.
Grasshoppers are the same as cricket's and locusts to breed. Not good
I vote mealworms, And If I was allowed I would send you 100 to start with.

I know a good place to get seeds so that one is checked off my list What do mean by there's better? I have a small breeding project of crickets and grasshoppers, also I spend about 50p on breeding them so good potential there... Thanks for the offer of 100 mealworms... but I already have about 500! My first attempt at breeding them has paid off and I now have tuns of baby mealies

That solid form apefola you get in the selection boxes would be good. I found the liquid form on a bee website but all my ants really like the solid stuff.

Who feeds ant brine shrimps? I voted mealworms, I had some before but the did stink! My Colonies usually live exclusively from flies I catch from my garden. speaking of which, there was a fly in my house today!

$100 WHAT! I would have to go against crickets, (even though at the time I bought a large pack I thought it was a good idea). This is as... a) They do not survive as long as meal worms. b) hard to catch even when in a small box. c) If they u escape they get away quick. Unlike meal worms which are not exactly ganna run away from you.
