Hi
I have 3 colonies in test tubes. 1 Niger and 2 Flavus. Think I might get rid of 1/all of them. Not sure whether to keep them, they will only live in test tubes because I have no space for the 3 of them. They are about 10 workers big What do you think? keep or not? any suggestions what to do with them.

Which lasius species is rare? Is it just in Ireland?
Yes, if I was to get rid of them it would be to give them to a regular on here as long as the reciever kept a regular journal.

All lasius types are rare in my area. I would raise all colonies to the size of 50 workers and then release them in my garden.

We're still makin plans, fraggs. There is still hope. Remember you must promise to keep a journal and have a good reason for wanting them.

I would like flavies but niger would be good to. I really will take which ever as I just want to increase the wild population. I will keep a journal though.

Well tttt, your going to get a colony. Anyone else should post here if they want a colony with a reason why. Il get back to them either on here or via pm.
You must be in a country where they naturally live.
