The ants haven't ate anything yet, it has been 5 days or so since I got them. Is this normal? If so, when should I be worried and what should I do? Thanks and sorry AGAIN for the questions. So many to ask

Generally, if the ants need food, they will forage. So either they don't need food or they're eating when you're not looking. Keep food available as much as possible, as they may be foraging when you're not watching them. EDIT: Your avatar's like mine!

As billy has said, make sure you keep providing food even if they appear not to be eating it. Just remember, they might not eat loads and maybe so little you might not see the difference in the food you put for them. (bite marks ect... obviously won't be visable) Also, they might be eating any food they have stored or unfertile eggs the queen as laid for exactly this reason.

They're probably still in their settling phase. Mine were very shy in the first two or three days. Also, if there's no brood, they may also be less bothered, as adult ants don't need a lot of food to run on individually, so a small colony with no brood won't require much.
