My ants havent been on ground since the 21st of August they havent eaten.Will i break the Entrance of the nest with a pin to get them to eat food and to forage?

Wow, you are lucky. Ihad similar problem but didn't leave it as long I disturbed the surface, nothing, dug a lil bit, nothing, dug alot, nothing, emptied the hole thing, nothing. All I found was a foraging queen the night before I started. So congrats on the success.
