Hi, I have a glass tank and a perspex sheet which I will be using as a lid. The problem is, when I put it on top, there are still little gaps around the edge which ants could squeeze through. The other da I had this idea which would hopefully make it fit better. 1. Put silicone sealant around the rim of the tank. 2. Drape cling film over the whole thing. 3. Place the perspex on top, with the cling film between the lid and the silicone. 4. Wait a couple of days. 5. Remove the lid. The cling film should be stuck to the top of the tank, so cut through it. 6. Replace the lid, which should now fit perfectly. I haven't tried it yet, but I will soon.
