Hey guys just wondering what your views are on Tetramorium impurum are as I may get them, either them or Tetramorium caespitum
I would be keeping them in the Antstore starter set medium

I love Tetramorium impurum. I have kept them in the past and plan on keeping them again one day soon. They are vary interesting and active ants.

Yes T.Impurum are great. Have a colony myself.
Note: They love fresh insects. They take any insect on and are very active!

T. Caesptum!!!! They do less of the mold causing food burying than Impurum, and are awesome!!!

Won't that mean that when it starts to mold It'll be harder to remove since they buried it?
Also I cant seem to find how big these ants are, the antstore pic makes them look tiny and I don't want them to be so small they can escape easily.

They are smaller than Lasius niger, and more slender.
When they bury their food it is quite easy to spot as they usually create a small mound over it.

A large bag of sand, a small bag of sand and a bag of red stones There was also a set of instruments half of which I don't know what they they do.
