Good Evening. I currently have a wild captured colony started from a Lasius niger queen.
I would like to know where the best and cheapest place is to buy another Lasius niger queen?

Antstore is better I know it has a high shipping cost but you can get like 50 ants for the price of 10 from edu-sci and antstore tend to feed them better and are higher quality .

I would get 25-50 workers It gives value for money but 1-4 gives fun im not sure I would actually say 1-4.

Oh right. So It means that it adds a bit of love and care to starting your own small colony than an established colony

I get more satisfication out of rubra's because they immobilise prey much easier and I have had much more success with these than Nigers but it's your choice.
