I think it can yes, basically it's a bit like my ytong nest. Seems like you can expand it whenever you want, this means you can start small and add a new section if they outgrow the farm. The only downside I see is that ants like small rooms, makes them feel secure. These chambers are a bit large, though you could fill one up with soil I guess.

Hello stevant,
If that is the case than I would do further research on the product before buying it. To me it looks like another Bin Lid rip off toy. :/

I think that this set-up would be good for small to medium sized ants.
If you have larger ants than I do not think that this is the set-up for you. There is no way a Campo queen is going to fit.
