Any suggestions for stopping messor barbarus escaping. My slim line ant farm the I built doesnt have a cover over the top. I was going to use talc but the others (that now live somewhere in my room) got over that. I'm pretty sure they would be able to chew through some cloths. Any suggestions? I do not want another version of 'The Great Escape' with steve's Mcqueen-ant (see what did there lol)
cheers guys

For start you can place the farm in a big basin filled with water, so at least if they escape they won't haunt your room. As for protection from having it happen in the first place PTFE should work, also you could try paraffin oil. The last one is cheaper at least.

Such a small colony I could not risk death to any. Oh and I will get a basin for it, this is just temporary for a week or so.
