Here, you can review different products that you purchase for your ants. Please keep all reviews "non-explicit" as in all of the Forum, but doesn't require that you must be positive about the product. Reviews must be of at least least 3 sentences, and should state why the product was good/bad. Thank You, and I hope this is helpful to everyone.
3-4 Pictures are also allowed,. and may help you to describe the product.
Please respect property of others, and do NOT use someone else's review, that you may have found on another website. Thanks.

I would like to Post A Review.
Wild Science Ant Mine Review
Recently, I purchased a Wild Science Eco-System Ant Mine. It came within 3-5 days as promised. First of all, it is quite a nice color and looks more professional than the small, Uncle Milton Plastic ones. The Instruction Manual is full of beginner information, and even ant food recipes. The actual farm is quite nice as well, and showcases my 11-ant colony, which consists of 10 workers and a fertile queen, their mother. Now, I don’t suggest if you catch a queen, to immediately place in it, unless filled with sand so she feels safer. I use, with all of my current colonies, test tube rearing Microsystems, and suggest you do so. Pros: • Medium-Lightweight • Sturdy with included stand • Looks Professional and Pleasing • Has a ingenious design, and incorporates 2.5 cm feeding portals, as well as two tubing connectors • Plexi-window is clear and sturdy • Water absorbs easily into nest • AWSEOME!!!
Cons: • Easily Cracks • Plexi-Window isn’t air-tight, OK for large ants, but you might want to use a non-toxic sealant if keeping very small species such as small Tetramorium • Hard to cover, but not impossible • Only ships with one ‘try’ of plaster, so if you break your first, your done • None more I see now! (Or wait, maybe that’s a pro to it.., hmm)
So, all in al, I am very pleased with it. One thing I suggest is that you purchase some extra plaster, and practice before using the nice plaster.

I'd like to review two things: AntWorks and AntWorld. AntWorks is an ant farm filled with gel the ants can eat, and survive in. It has a light that light up the gel, so you can see them. The only bad thing is it molds easily. And it's not suitable for queens either. Only for a small amount of workers. Antworld is very good: 2/3 of the nest is for dirt, the rest is for piling the dirt. It has a tube from the side leading to a feeding box with a magnifying circle. It was interesting watching them tunnel through dirt and pile in at the top. I'm using this idea for a larger version of this to have a queen in. Out of these 2, AntWorld by Wild Science is best

I would like to review the Tarheelants set up I got a while ago, I've been meaning to write this XD I bought a nest, 4x6'', and Out world. The nest its self, is great, minimal chips on the Ytong and the frame is great quality. The design is great, especially for Messor Barbarus' as they can store seeds in the dead ends. The color of the nest, is green. It's a great color of green, like a green screen color Connecting the Out world and nest was easy, no silicone of glue required, they both have holes exact to the tubing, so all you need to do is slide the tube into the nest, and out world, and its done. The out world looks great, the fake plants are really good, and the stone in the center is great for adding a drop of honey, without it being absorbed by the material making the Foraging area. The two small hills at both ends of the out world, make it more interesting to see your ants climb over, and make it look more natural. The hydration system on the nest, is genius, using a needle to inject water directly into the nest is great, and it won't disturb the ants to much, as it is absorbed within seconds. Pros- • Vary sturdy • Great quality • Price of the nest and out world quite cheap • Amazing hydration system • So many others, I can't list them all Cons- • Shipping to the UK was $30 • The needle hurts when you poke yourself XD Overall, I am sure I will buy another one day, as it is the best nest I have ever seen and I highly recommend TarheelAnts

Review: Wild Science! Jungle Colony Ant Farm $25.00 AU The Wild Science! Range have a lot of similar farms on the market, for all intents and purposes this might as well also be a review for the Ant Circus product. The ant farm follows the 'basic' design used by Uncle Milton and his classic set of ant farms- the top half is empty, the bottom half filled with dirt. The Jungle Colony adds some gimmicks, like a "bridge" for them to climb across above, and a "maze" in the middle, where the middle of the maze has a door to the outside world, designed for you to put food in, so they can 'brave the maze and find the food'. Does it work? Barely. The Maze is useless and the ants can climb around the "barriers" of the maze anyway- rendering it pointless. They eventually fill the maze with dirt anyway- including the food chamber. The food chamber is too difficult to use without ants getting out of the open hatch anyway. The maze also builds up water, sometimes moulding and killing the ants. Poor design. The farm itself is very difficult to get into once put together. It has tiny openings at the top of the farm that you cannot get anything through, and other than that, there's no way to access something you've put in there- like a water-filled tissue, or small orange sliver or something. The drainage system isn't up to scratch and most of my farms moulded way too easily. Also, because of the design, dirt escapes if you so much as touch it, so prepare for a dirty workstation! Look, I complained a lot but this is at least a (barely) functional ant farm. I've had a lot of fun with it in my ant-loving times, and the connectability to other ant farms from Wild Science! (like the above-reviewed Ant'O'Sphere) makes for an awesome experience watching your ants find new worlds. Pros: Basic design largish area for ants Connects to other Wild Science! products Cons: Water becomes stagnant much too easily Annoying to assemble, even to put the dirt in. Maze is stupid. Thumbs up for me, but barely. If you don't mind having an ugly ant farm with some aesthetic issues, go for it.
