Are Messor Barbarus Semi Claustral or Fully claustral, I'd of believed they were fully claustral yet when the colony is small they do tend to wander.
So, I'd like to know ;D

I am not sure, but when I had my queen she did wonder a lot and ate a little to but stayed in the chambers.

Messor barbarus queens are fully-claustral.
Fully-claustral - Queen doesn't need to forage while in the founding stages. Ex. Lasius niger or Formica subsericea
Semi-claustral - Queen needs to forage for food while in the founding stages. Ex. Myrmica rubra or Pogonomyrmex salinus
