I have plans on breeding waxworms all I need is oats, honey, wax paper and waxworms. Im going to breed them to feed my ants and my gecko as a treat. wax worms are a bit expensive as food to buy so breeding them should be cheeper and I should get more then I get from stores wax worms are A-saxual so it dosent matter what gender thay are as long as you have more then one in there.
waxworms dont tern into bettles thay tern into moths.

Wikipedia says so, I think to breed they need to be moths, thats there adult stage, but I think ants would hapily eat a moth

Make sure to tell us how this goes as I have thought a lot about keeping waxworms:)! Would be great to hear how much the ants like them.

They do a lot of damage to Bombus nests and they can completly destroy them at the early stages, they eat all the nest parts.
