Is it okay if I lift up the concrete slab again tommorow And take a few close up pictures and post them here? I hope some one can Identify them for me

I think they were sharing food , and they just stood there like that for a bit.

They are vary nice pictures, poortea. Those two ants are certainly sharing food. If they were fighting their antennae would probably be folded back against their heads for protection.

I think it's very likely to be Lasius umbratus.

I would in my garden, as I only have lasius Niger and a few flavus (which are being destroyed by the nigers). But Umbratus do not have a high succes rate, so that will take a long time.
