No problem. When ever you get a new queen from a nuptil flight the best thing to do is just keep her along in a dark and warmish place. What sort of temperature is it normally in your house by the way? And thank you.

I have her up in my study, its nice and dark up there as the window is small, the temp is around 25degrees, and I've covered the tank partly with a blanket so its a little darker but not pitch black, i just went to check on her and she is still just stud there doing nothing, im hoping everything will be ok

I know, I couldn't believe what happend, I just hope I can find another Queen now, Do you or anyone know how long this queen Flight season lasts? I read in the scientific study that it was round 1 month but then i also read that it can all be over within a day? Ill not be back till later, im off out now on a Mission to find a Queen, again

Umm, Dr Ant, that queen was fatally injured to begin with. If you look closely on the picture that you posted, there is severe damage to her gaster and thorax. Good luck finding a new queen. I think that spider might have put her our of her misery, if I'm honest.

Thanx for the post, hopefully i will find another queen, didn't see anything while I was out looking today, I would relay like to find my own Queen as its a little accomplishment but if all fails Ill just have to buy one I suppose as im not going to wait till next year
