I am thinking of (next march/april) Of getting a colony of Camonatus Ligneperdus... Would these be okay, bearing mind it is another 7 months and I would ave had experiance with Niger and Rubra.

Why not try some Messors first, I think they are a little easier to keep than Campo.

Oh and personnaly i dont really unxerstand on how ants are hard to keep.

Some ants are hard to keep.
You try keeping a leaf cutter colony and giving them enough food! Or, if some ants are more specific/sensetive to criteria; that makes them hard to keep.
