Hey that looks awesome! Should be good for your ants! But.. do you have a hole in which you could connect a foraging tank so the ants can have access to food?

Does the farm absorb water? Do you have a hole to moisten the nest?

As do I. It rather resembles that of AntsCanada's Habitat Nests, only maybe that it cost you much less than their absurd prices would.

actually i costs like 20 bucks to make i am thinking about making them and selling them. yes i have goes for the foraging area and i have put it air line tubing for the water to run through it runs into the biggest chamber. yes it holds water but it has to have water sit in it (if you don't keep it damp all the time) other than that its ok. If any one would like one i can sell you one and you can make the design and i will make it as close to your design as possible. i have a lot of the quick creet ready to be set. ps. a couple of the molds i made did not like water i just half to add more water into the quick creet to make it more porus.

It is a good set up. I look forward to hearing how it goes. What ant species have you got?

Wow. his story is identical to mine! I had a C. Modoc Queen before I was at MANF, and then she died. The nest year (This year) I have tons of queens, but only one Camponotus left as two have died on me.

Mine? Terrible. One Worker, One queen, and a bunch of what I presume to be dead brood that they still try to care for, though they are discolored and havent grown at all.
