I'm not sure weather I should feed L. Flavus dead wasps, or even live wasps, in the past I've fed ants with live wasps the ants generaly either kill the wasp or it dies of starvation. Is this good for my ants or would it be better with dead wasps or is the poison in wasps lethal to ants ?

So you love wasps yet you let house flies and other insects die?!?!?! I dont get it!
Well i prefer live insects so that it would be also a little closer to the wild. I mean the ants in the wild arent going to only find dead insects and honey water(LOL). But you said that ur ants killed the wasp so i dont really get it. But what i would do is give a dead wasp to a small colony and a live one to a big colony that if casualties do happen it wouldnt have a big affect.

Well my ants did kill it BUT next time I'm worried about significant losses but it's a colony of about 50 anyway is that enough ?
Oh and demon ants need protien and wasps are like 95% protien and the other 5% is pollen and brain tissue

I have put in dead wasps but to be on safe side i cut in half and put tail end in bin in case the poison or sting affects them.

Since were on the topic of wasps I just thought I would say that ants evolved from wasps. Just in case anybody didn't know that.

You wouldn't think twice about putting a spider in, and spiders have just as deadly poisons as wasps. What's the big deal?

Spiders Rule. Wasps are aggresive.
The ants I feed wasps love them xD xD xD (And also the poor house spider who failed at mating... kept it alive for a further 3 days before it died form the poison of his mate :/ still, the ants left only a skeleton =( )
