Hi all,
It's been a while since I logged in, I do apologise. Hopefully this makes up for it:
Merry Christmas everyone!

AMAZING! Incredible to see Bull ants performing those amazing feats. What an incredible story, I'm very happy you managed to get males from a separate colony (from germany!!) to reproduce with the offspring of your myrmecia queen. Incredible. Maye I ask your production crew what filming equipment they used, and what lighting they used for the "moonlight" shots? Would be greatly appreciated! Amazing work guys

Of course, the equipment is rather standard:
I used a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm standard lens on a tripod. As for lighting, I used a standard 50W bulb for the bright light & the moonlight was a 50W night glo bulb from exo terra.
Thankyou!
Vasile

Very nice! Don't think standard Canon lenses can manage focusing that close!
