i also plan on building a small foraging area myself. I found a glass cutting shop 10 mins away that will cut it cheap!
i'm going t make a little ledge in it too to make it more exciting.

I can never find a Glass Cutting shop ;(. Anyhow, thank you for that exalt, But there's one thing you should consider - Looking around in your LFS (Local Fish Store/Reptile store) For a mini Faunarium Like this: www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/reptiles/terrariums/sets/85993?gclid=CMeQk8Ck-bACFQwjfAodMxxFPQI got one like this for £10.99 from my closest Pet's at home, I used fine cloth taped over the gaps, Filled with 2mm of sand, rocks and fake plants, I'd consider it!

How do you get the tubes in and out to the nest?
What escape proofing do you use?

I cut it out, I drew on a rough mark with pen, used a good knife and It was out, simple. I also used some fire proof cloth I found in my garage, but most cloth will do!
